This is a good example where manager asks data driven questions, starting with the most important one: Quality.
After initial set of goal--specific questions, manager asks questions related to his previous insights or follow up of previous day's discussions, to ensure his coaching is enforced. For instance, the manager previously coached all ICs to use the proper tool for test cases. Each day, he keeps asking : "Are you using the Execution tool for test case execution". This ensures the ICs do follow his coaching. Without this, IC might forget the coaching before it becomes a permanent behavior and switch back to their earlier behavior.
